Keyboard Shortcuts

Since the Airworthiness Certification (AWC) application is a web-based system, the browser’s keyboard shortcuts are available when working within the AWC application. Shortcut keys help increase speed and effectiveness for keyboard-oriented users. Some of the most commonly used Microsoft (MS) Internet Explorer shortcuts are listed in the table below.

BACKSPACE

Go to the previous page

CTRL+A

Select all items on the current Web page

CTRL+C

Copy the selected items to the clipboard

CTRL+E

Open Search in Explorer bar

CTRL+F

Find on this page

CTRL+F5

Refresh the current Web page

CTRL+H

Open History in Explorer bar

CTRL+I

Open Favorites in Explorer bar

CTRL+O

CTRL+L

Go to a new location

CTRL+P

Print the current page

CTRL+V

Insert the contents of the clipboard at the current cursor location

CTRL+W

Close the current window

CTRL+X

Remove the selected items and copy them to the clipboard

Scroll toward the bottom of a screen

Move to the end of a screen

Stop downloading a page

Toggle between Full Screen and regular view of the browser window

Move to the beginning of a screen

Moves the page up one section at a time

Move back through the items on a Web page, the Address bar, and the Links bar
